Friday Sandbox is where I explore ideas outside my day job—experimenting with workflows, automation, AI, and small tools that solve problems I find interesting. Some projects are fully functional, some are prototypes, and others are simply concepts that help me think through a problem.
This isn’t a company portfolio or a client showcase. It’s a place to learn, build, test, and occasionally share things that might be useful to others.
Most projects start with a simple question: Could this be made easier, better, or more fun? Using AI tools, experimentation, and real-world experience, I turn ideas into working prototypes and share them here.
Some projects solve practical problems. Others exist simply because building them was interesting. New additions will appear over time as new ideas find their way into the playground.

A simple family-friendly task board that helps children and parents track chores, earn rewards, and build positive habits together. No account required.
Why I built it: Because I wanted a simpler alternative chore charts, endless reminders, and negotiating the same tasks every week.

A reporting control layer for complex grant portfolios.
Designed for organizations managing complex grant portfolios, helping teams prevent missed deadlines, reduce reporting risk, and coordinate workloads across projects.
Why I built it: Because calendars don’t give me a clear overview of reporting obligations – and they don’t automatically calculate or generate project deadlines.

Our practical roadmap to HYROX race day.
A customizable, structured 16-session training plan combining running, strength, and HYROX-specific workout to build fitness, confidence, and race readiness.
Why I built it: Because my training buddies and I wanted a structured plan where we could see our progress over time and stay motivated on the journey to race day.

A simple platform for discovering, organizing, and joining workplace social activities, making it easier to build stronger teams and communities.
Why I Built It: Because I wanted to make it easier for colleagues across teams/groups to connect through shared experiences.

A lighting design experiment that became a real product.
Lamp 914 was designed, prototyped, launched, and protected through registered design rights. While production is currently paused, the design remains part of the Happy Friday Studio portfolio.
Why I Built It: Because I was curious whether an idea could go from sketch to physical product. It turned out it could.
